Why am I being charged a shipping fee when your website states “free shipping”?

Free shipping is *‘to most areas within Australia’. Some outlying areas will display fixed rates in cart and some remote areas may be subject to further remote area surcharges after checkout. Please see Shipping terms and conditions for full details, or contact us for a comprehensive quote.

I’ve heard I need to "season" my swag before use - is that true?

It sure is! Swags made from canvas will require the canvas to be seasoned before use. It requires wetting the canvas multiple times and allowing it to dry out completely in between. Remove your mattress and close all windows and zips. Get the hose out and give it a spray, paying particular attention to the seams. Let it dry out completely and then give it another go.

This allows the fibres of the canvas to expand and contract, sealing any tiny holes in the seams that were made during manufacture. It is essential to ensure your swag is completely waterproof.

How do I clean my swag and canvas products?

Remove dirt with a soft brush and cold water if necessary. Do not use soap, detergents, petrol, oils or solvents. Ensure your product is completely dry before packing away.

There is moisture on the walls of my swag when I wake up in the morning. Is my swag leaking?

Condensation is a natural occurrence in cold weather. In confined areas like swags and tents the body releases more moisture than the canvas can dispose of. To minimise the chance of condensation, we recommend slightly opening the window of the swag or tent to enable airflow on cold nights.

What is your returns policy?

We want you to be happy with our gear as we are! If you are not absolutely stoked with your purchase get in touch with us. You may be eligible for a refund or exchange as long as it hasn’t been worn or used and is returned to us in its entire packaging, in resaleable condition, within 14 days. All shipping and insurance costs are up to you though and we can’t give you a credit on any of that. Please contact us and we can go through the process with you.
